thanks...... a reminder to anyone who cares..their are anti-war protests going on all over the place on feb. 15th...i know theres one in raleigh and many many other cities in many countries, so check it out.......i guess if we do this enough, our "democratic" government might listen.... pppppffffffffffft....
Its hart warming to see the youth of america taking a stand, and to see that they care. Even though I am pro-military, I understand what anti-war people are doing, and i appriciate it. Even though we differ in our stance on an issue, we still practice what formed this country and that diversity is amazing.

I went to hear a speaker about military issiues, Captan Pruyer is with the 82nd down at Bragg, and what he said made me think, and i think its worth sharing. "A true warrior does not hope for war, he must train for it, but prays for peace. The man who is trained to be a warrior and hopes for war is not a warrior at all, but just a coward trained to use a weapon." And he made one great point I never thought about. The question was:"Do you think Bush has enough on Iraq for a war, and if he doesn't, how do you feel about going to fight?" He responeded:"You and I don't exactly know what Bush has on Iraq, there may be intelligence he can not share yet with the world. The intel the white house has may not be shared for many reasons, there may not be anything intel at all. But if the Commander In Chief of the USA orders me to remove Saddam from power, I will, thats my job."
If he reflects how the Military thinks about the war, I don't think we have much to worry about in the means of politics. And to finalize, his tone the whole time was strong and firm against war. But you knew if it does happen, he won't second guess his orders.
Where do you guys(anybody who wants to voice thier stance) stand?
I am firmly with Capt. Pruyer, I don't want war, but if it goes down I'll support all the troops over there.
