what's so crazy about a celebrity dying and mass media knowing about it with the quickness? not even trying to be a dick, I always thought that thing was kind of normal.
Looks like his own "high hopes" might be the cause of death as they found pills scattered around his unconscious body. Which brings up an interesting point, did anyone used to do pills but not do them anymore?
Ok wow I just got SCREAMED at by my roommates for saying "I really hope they finished the new Batman!" They said I'm selfish for caring more about a movie than his death. I responded that I'm not affected by his death because I didn't know the man and I'm not trying to front like he changed my life. Sucks for his friends and family, but it doesn't affect me except whether or not the movie is released including him.

Anyone listen to Michael Savage? I hate that dude, but he was talking yesterday about what makes a good father - he went on to say that Ledger is being falsely idolized as a good father because theres a couple of pictures of him pushing his kid around in a stroller, he also in so many words called him a drug user. (And now they're saying that the rolled up $20 bill was clean of drugs, and all the pills were prescribed and in closed in the bottle, not open spewed around the room....)
anyway- just because they are prescribed drugs doesn't mean he wasn't abusing him... i know plenty of people who are junkies now thanks to their doctors.
really, theres no reason. all in all, he was probably just a rich asshole. however, i found him entertaining as an actor, i liked looking at him (hawt stuff), and he never really seemed to get caught up in that hollywood nonsense (seemingly a rarity nowadays). i think it was awesome for him to take on the role he did in Brokeback Mountain (hitting real homophobia right in the gut). i dont know, there are some people that seemed to take on acting and shit like it was supposed to be taken on. Im not a fanatic or anything either, i will be the least affected person around "celebrities" youll know.
i dont know, i guess. i just feel weird about the circumstances surrounding his death (seems like an accident), and i liked seeing him in movies, and i feel like he was somewhat socially conscious. If Christian Bale were to die, id feel the same way. theres only a couple.
yeah it was a bit more sad cause he wasnt caught up in all of the bullshit. heres the thing - if britney spears or lindsey lohan ODd then itd be like 'yeah, who didnt see that shit coming' but he was pretty low-key. was a bit of a shock. i liked him in the dogtown movie too
