dont get me wrong that sucks real bad and that nurse made a big mistake but when i first started reading the article i went in thinking that someone got an abortion that wasnt planning on having one. granted this still really sucks for that lady but that would have sucked even more. -

please correct me(not trying to be a smartass) if youre reading that she didnt elsewhere on the page, but i was very sure she did by these quotes:
"A woman was given a chemical abortion tablet by mistake"
"When staff realised what had happened the distraught woman, named only as patient A, was called back to the clinic in pain and doctors subsequently advised her to undergo a surgical abortion." -

are you saying you didn't think she was planning on having an abortion? what i got from the article is that she was going in for a consultation for an abortion but she was past the 9 week period so she just couldn't have it done by chemical abortion. like josh said, it seems like she was still planning on having one but damn does that suck that it happened like that. i mean, within the time between the consultation and the actual abortion, she might've had a change of heart.
this is just so sad.
btw, did anyone get annoyed of how the writer of the article kept constantly repeating themselves? "she came back in pain." "she was in pain so she came back." "they called her and she said she was in pain." wtf? we get it. it just bugged me. -

no yeah. all i was saying is this person was already planning on having on an abortion she was just in the early phases (and to lauras point she could have changed her mind still). When i originally started reading the article i thought that maybe it was at some random hospital and they gave some pregrant lady an abortion that had no plans on having an abortion. sucks.... -
